HAL Aircraft Division, Nasik invites applications from the eligible candidates for the following posts:
ASSISTANT ENGINEERS in the disciplines of MECHANICAL and ELECTRICAL
No. of Posts:1) Assistant Engineers (Mechanical) - 21 posts ( UR-10, OBC-6, SC-4 & ST-1 )2) Assistant. Engineers (Electrical) - 08 posts (UR-4, OBC-2, SC-1 & ST-1 )
ELIGIBILITY:Qualification Requirements:

ELECTRICAL
Electrical,Electrical & Electronics,Electrical & Power, Electronics & Power,Electrical Power Systems,Electrical & Instrumentation.
MECHANICAL
Mechanical,Mechanical & Industrial Engg.,Mechanical & Production Engg.,Mechanical(Sandwich).
Graduates in any of the above Branches of Engineering from any recognized Institution / University with a minimum 60% marks in the aggregate of all semesters for General / OBC candidates and a minimum of 50% Marks in the aggregate of all semesters for SC / ST candidates / Corresponding CGPA Ratings / Gradations are eligible to apply. OR
First Class (60% Marks) Degree in Engineering as awarded by the University / Institute in respect of General / OBC candidates (Second Class (50% Marks) in respect of SC/STs) are eligible.
Candidates who have passed Degree in Engg in the Branches specified above and obtained the prescribed percentage of marks as on the last date prescribed for receipt of application (05.03.2008) need only apply. Candidates who have appeared in their final year or whose results are awaited need not apply.
AGE: Upper age limit is 28 years as on 01.02.2008 for general candidates.
REMUNERATION:They will be appointed in Grade-I with the starting pay of Rs. 8950/- in the Scale of Pay of Rs. 6550-200-11350 (Pay Scales are due for revision from 01.01.2007).
Centre for written examination: Written Examination will be held at Nasik only on 23.03.2008.
Service Agreement: The Selected Candidates will be undergoing a structured training for a period of 16 weeks. They will be required to execute a bond to serve the Company for 2 years, after the confirmation in the regular rolls of the Company.

Candidates belonging to the SC/ST/PWD category are exempted from application fee. Name and application reference number may please be written at the back of the Demand Draft. Candidates are required to possess a valid E-mail ID, which is to be entered in the application format, so that intimation regarding downloading of call letters for written test / interview can be sent.
