The gross minimum monthly emoluments of GETs/MTs posted at Mumbai will be Rs.17,860/- (approx.) and at Units will be Rs.15,974/- (approx.). On successful completion of the training period GETs/MTs will be absorbed in the grade of Officer in the scale of pay of Rs.8600-250-14600 and will be eligible for DA, HRA and other allowances as applicable to officers.
General Conditions:
1. Should be a citizen of India.

Mazagon Dock Limited (MDL) is India’s leading Shipbuilder with ISO 9001:2000 accreditation. MDL is a profit-making Central Government Schedule ‘A’ (Mini Ratna) PSU under the Ministry of Defence, Department of Defence Production, engaged primarily in the construction of Warships and Submarines for the Indian Navy. MDL also builds other vessels including commercial vessels. The turnover of the Company is expected to be over Rs.2000 crores in the year 2007-08 and is projected to be higher in the coming years. MDL has an employee strength of around 8000.

Applications are invited from Indian Nationals for the posts of Probationary Officer in the Industrial Dearness Allowance (IDA) pay scale in the following disciplines:

Qualifying Requirements:-
a) Educational Qualification: Full time degree in Engineering / Technology from a recognized
university / deemed university with minimum 55% marks.
b) Age: Not exceeding 26 years as on 07th April 2008.
Pay and Allowances: Probationary Officers will be appointed in the IDA pay scale of Rs.8600- 250-14600. The scale is under revision. The gross emoluments at the minimum of the pay scale is presentlyRs.22,595/- approx. In addition, PF, Gratuity, LTA, and Medical facility are also admissible as per company’s rules.


Processing Fee: Candidates applying for the posts of Probationary Officers are required to pay a processing fee of Rs.250/- (non-refundable) by way of Demand Draft to be drawn in favour of Mazagon Dock Limited, payable at Mumbai. SC/ST/PWD category candidates are exempted from payment of processing fee.

How to Apply:
a) Application form may be downloaded from MDL Website on A-4 size paper.
b) Applications must be in response to our Advertisement quoting Reference No. and Discipline on the application form.
c) Applications should be submitted strictly as per the prescribed format available on the MDL Website.
d) All instructions as given on the MDL Website must be adhered to, failing which, the applicant will be disqualified for the post.
e) Application for the “Post of Probationary Officer (……………….)”should be superscribed on the
envelope containing the application. The name of the concerned Engineering discipline is to be inserted in the bracketed portion.
f) Applications should contain a recent passport size photograph pasted on the application, selfattested copies of date of
birth certificate, caste/PH certificate as applicable, degree certificate with mark-sheets. If a candidate is employed in Govt. / PSU / Autonomous bodies, such application should be routed through proper channel if he is appointed in Pay scale of Rs.5500- 175-9000 (CDA) or Rs.6550-200-11300 (IDA).
g) Applications must be forwarded to MDL through Post/
Courier Service only. Applications forwarded through any other means including by Fax or e-mail will not be entertained.
h) Applications must reach the Additional General Manager (Training & Recruitment), Mazagon Dock Limited, Dockyard Road, Mumbai 400 010 on or before 07th April 2008. MDL will not be responsible for any delay/loss in postal transit of any application or communication.

NTPC Looking for Executive Trainees

NTPC is looking for promising, energetic, young graduate engineers & professionals with brilliant academic record to join the organization as:

Qualification:
a) Engineering Executive Trainees (EET):

Full time Bachelor's Degree in Engineering/ Technology from a recognized Indian
University/ Institute approved by AICTE with not less than 65% marks, taking average of all the Semesters/ Years irrespective of the weight age given to any particular semester/ year by your Institute/ University. Final year/ semester students who expect their result by 01.08.2008 may also apply provided they have obtained at least 65% marks taking average up to pre-final examination. A candidate with the prescribed degree identified for the disciple as given below can only apply for the post of EET in the respective discipline:

c) Executive Trainees - Finance (ET-Fin)

Graduates with CA / ICWA qualification or two year full time MBA with finance as main subject from a recognized university / institute with not less then 60% marks taking average of all the Semesters / Years, irrespective of the weightage given to any particular semester / year by your Institute / University. Final year / semester students who expect their result by 01.08.2008 may also apply provided they have obtained at least 60% marks taking average upto pre-final examination.

Age Limit: -
The upper age limit for candidate with graduate degree in the related advertised discipline is 27 years as on 01.01.2008 i.e candidate born before 01.01.1981 need not apply.
Age limit will be 29 years for candidate with two years full time postgraduate degree in Engineering for engineering disciplines and MBA for ET (HR) or ET (Finance.

How to Apply:
Eligible candidate should have to apply through online registration system of NTPC only. To apply visit:
www.ntpcjobs.net with your valid E-mail ID. General and OBC category candidates are also required to pay a non-refundable registration fee of Rs.500/-. Candidates can either pay registration fee online while applying for the post through credit/ debit card or alternatively through DD. No other mode of payment would be accepted. If they opt to pay by Demand Draft then it should be in favour of "NTPC Limited" payable at New Delhi. Candidates can visit the online registration site from 1300 hours of 08.03.2008 to midnight of 28.03.2008.

After applying online, candidates is required to download the registration slip generated by the system in duplicate with unique registration number, places for photograph and signature and other details. The candidate has to send one printout of registration slip duly signed along with required demand draft. The registration number, name, discipline and category should be written at the back of DD.
