Selection Procedure : 1. Selection will be made purely on the basis of merit in the written test to be held (for both the streams) at Patiala on 09.02.2014 (Sunday). 2. Those candidates who have either appeared or are appearing in the final examination, may apply at their own risk and responsibility. They shall only be considered for appointment if they produce a proof of having passed the requisite qualification at the time of document verification by the Department. No relaxation for time shall be admissible. 3. Written Test shall assess the candidate w.r.t. his proficiency in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering of diploma level & Basic Computer applications for Junior Engineers and as per Certificate Course in Civil Draftsman for Junior Draftsmen; along with the basic understanding about written English, General knowledge and Quantitative Analysis relevant for each of the categories. Multiple choice questions (MCQ) in a 3 hour test shall be the format of examination. The test shall be conducted in English. There shall be negative marking in the written test.
